Our most frequent service - an in-depth overview of an entire audience, comparable to a typical qualitative study. Each report is built with 3 core sections, including cultural characteristics, top interests, and the most relevant accounts/influencers.

Audience Maps contain all you need to launch a brilliant campaign or find excellent collaborators. It's also a great starting point for further qualitative projects!

Our signature stunning visual, segmenting the audience based on their actual affinities. With Culture Maps you can see what subcommunities the main audience is made of, and how they relate to each other.

We highly recommend this solution if you want to later dive deeper into any subsegment, or if you suspect your target audience is deeply fargmented.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to get started?

All we need to receive is your audience definition – i.e. “our Instagram followers”, or “people who liked this trending post”, or “everyone who follows one of these 30 authors”. Then we can sample from them and work our magic.

How does your product/service work?

We have built a custom analytics and data toolkit. For each project, we sample 300–1500 Instagram users and comprehensively analyze what they see in their feeds, as well as top-level, anonymized information about them. Then, we use a lot of math and science to turn it into amazing reports.

How much does it cost?

If you’re looking for a repeat data supplier, we’re able to offer reports for as little as 750 EUR (or 500 EUR with bulk orders).
For one-off clients, our pricing is based on your audience, with a project minimum of 2500 EUR.

Do you use LLMs/AI?

All our reports are generated with a human expert – that’s why we take 2–5 days per project. We do use LLMs/AI for low-risk tasks like pulling examples or editing our notes, but all actual analytics & findings are created by a real person.
We’re many years away from LLMs being able to accurately interpret cultural data without resorting to stereotypes or oversimplifications, so we use them as we would use an intern

Can I request projects in any language?

Yes!
In non-English projects, we rely on translation tools and on LLMs to understand the context behind each profile (because we can’t be both experts on the food scene in Vietnam and pop culture in the UK). In practice, this means that we're 99% certain of our findings, in comparison to the usual 99.9%
We also work with local & topical experts for larger projects!

What about GDPR/Privacy?

We strictly meet GDPR criteria and pay great attention to project ethics. All the platforms we leverage clearly inform their users that their data can be used for marketing & research. We work with relatively small samples to respect platforms’ ToS. And no personally identifying information ever touches our hard drive – we only report on anonymized aggregates!

How are you different from social listening?

Social listening looks at what’s being posted on social. Only a few % of users post regularly, and usually in an extremely self-censored or goal-oriented manner.

Our tool focuses on how an average person uses social – scrolling and engaging. We don’t really track conversations but instead look at WHO the people behind conversations are.

Do you also do trend research?

Currently, we’re able to do longitudinal studies on audiences, seeing what they’ve started following recently or how their interests have changed.

We’re also frequently looking at the “edges” of subcultures, seeing emerging trends and crossovers in every report.

It’s up to you whether you consider that trends :)

Our brand isn’t really on social. Does it still make sense to use your service?

95% of the time, YES! We don’t analyze just the audiences of brands, but also entire industries, sets of competitors, or even hand-picked target audiences. As long as a large proportion of your customers use social, our findings will be practical!

Can I get a report for a single country?

Yes - but at additional cost. We're able to select our sample down to individual accounts, based on any characteristics you wish, such as language, country, parental status, particular interest, or even level of activity. These filters do unfortunately mean much higher costs
